Andrew Perraut specializes in regulatory policy and served in the White House's Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs from 2008 to 2014. In that role, he supervised FDA and USDA policies relating to food and nutrition, tobacco, biotechnology, veterinary medicine, and agriculture. Prior to that he researched and wrote about regulations and transparency at the Mercatus Center, an economic-policy think tank associated with George Mason University. He also holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics.

Andrew is currently based in San Francisco but travels to Washington, DC and other locations frequently.
